Introduce yourself My name is Achtergael Jean Pierre. I am living in Belgium and own and breed Dalmatians since 1982. I am a dalmatian judge since 1992 and I am also alowed to judge more breeds in group 6 and whole group 7. When you start breeding Dalmatians? Since 1982 Why you choose exactly Dalmatian? Because of his special looks temperament, spotting, sportive dog. How many Dalmatians you own? two for the moment What kind of problems you encounter during your breeding? The usual problems dalmatians have, bleu eyes, deafness, unilaterale, plates. Tell us about your major success? My biggest succes is my dog Buster of The Green Garden who is now five years old, he is Belgian, International, Dutch, German, VDH, Luxemburg champion and won serveral group placings and best in shows. What is your basic breeding goal? To breed the perfect dalmatian in Caracter and Type. What do you think about the future of the breed in Belgium? There are no more real dalmatian breeders in Belgium, only occasionel breeders. Whe have only 2 to 4 litters in one year. What is the origin of Dalmatian at your point of view?
